TIME FRAME

• Illustrations using traditional media typically take longer to complete than digital mixed media work as the process can require time for each layer of colour to dry and cure before the drawing and painting can be added to. 

• Working time can vary from 4 weeks up to 4 months for elaborately detailed illustrations. 

• Cost of airmail shipping (incl. insurance & tracking) is included in the price of the commission. Artworks are shipped rolled in an art tube if A3 size and larger, or shipped flat in a rigid envelope for artworks A4 size and smaller.

• Payment can be made by installments via Paypal. When booking your custom artwork we can discuss the number & frequency of payments depending on the time frame in which the artwork is to be completed.

PRICING

• Prices start at $580 for a graphite pencil portrait with no background, using a supplied reference photo from the client.  

• Please Note:  your reference photo needs to be at least 1000px wide. Ideally, it should be as large as possible with sharp detail to make your portrait a realistic likeness. 

• More elaborate drawings are priced according to an estimate of the number of hours I expect to be working on the illustration. Most illustrations take at least 40 hours of work! 

MONOCHROME, NO BACKGROUND

MONOCHROME WITH FULL BACKGROUND

COLOR PENCIL OR WATERCOLOR

color pencil or watercolor, mixed media on paper, with one subject & background, maximum size A3 (11 x 16 inches, 29 x 42 cm)

acrylic painting up to 50cm x 75cm in size, one subject with background
